Please be advised of a scheduled power interruption that will affect portions of Leyte and Southern Leyte provinces this coming Saturday, 19 September 2026.

Affected Distribution Utilities and Schedules:

DORELCO

  • Time: 5:00 AM – 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Substations: Mayorga, Abuyog, and Javier

SOLECO

Reason for the Interruption:
The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) will undertake necessary maintenance works involving pole replacement and the correction of transmission line defects along the Maasin–San Isidro 69 kV line. These activities are essential to ensure the continued reliability and safety of the power transmission system serving the area.

Important Notes:

  • The specific barangays, puroks, and establishments that will be affected will be determined and announced by the respective electric cooperatives (DORELCO and SOLECO).
  • Residents, businesses, and institutions in the covered areas are advised to prepare accordingly. Please charge essential devices, secure backup power sources if available, and take necessary precautions for perishable goods and medical equipment that rely on continuous electricity.
  • NGCP will exert all efforts to complete the works and restore power earlier than the announced schedule whenever possible, or strictly as scheduled.

We apologize for any inconvenience this temporary interruption may cause and thank the public for their understanding and cooperation as we work to improve the reliability of the power supply in the region.

For the latest updates and the complete list of affected areas, please coordinate with your local electric cooperative or monitor official announcements from NGCP, DORELCO, and SOLECO.
