Foreign nationals legally residing in the Philippines need:

GoTyme also asks for tax residency details (FATCA/BSP). Make sure ID photos are clear and match the details you enter.
Option 1: Open via the app (then print the card)
This is the usual path if you want to start using the account immediately.
- Download the official GoTyme Bank app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Tap Sign Up.
- Enter your name, mobile number, and email (if you have one). Verify the OTP.
- Upload / scan a valid ID.
- Declare tax residency.
- Take a selfie for face match.
- Create your PIN and accept the terms.
Once approved, you can use the account in the app. You also get a virtual debit card for online payments and wallets. The physical card is printed later at a kiosk.
Option 2: Open and print the card at a kiosk
Kiosks are in many Robinsons, Shopwise, No Brand, and other partner stores nationwide. A bank ambassador is usually there to help.
Typical kiosk flow:
- Tap Open a new account.
- Review requirements and terms.
- Enter and verify your mobile number (OTP).
- Scan your ID and take a selfie.
- Confirm address, work industry, and source of funds.
- Create a username and 6-digit passcode.
- Set your debit card PIN.
- The machine prints your Visa debit card. Grab it quickly (you typically have about 30 seconds).
Signing up at a kiosk often takes about 5 minutes, and you walk away with the physical card.
How to get the physical card if you already opened in the app
- Find a kiosk: use gotyme.com.ph/kiosk-locations or search “kiosk” in the app Help/FAQ.
- Log in at the kiosk with your registered number / account details.
- Choose print / collect debit card.
- Set or confirm your card PIN if asked.
- Take the printed card.
First physical card is free. A reprint or replacement is typically ₱200, taken from your account.
In Cebu there are kiosks in places such as Robinsons Galleria Cebu, Ayala Center Cebu, Shopwise Basak, Lapu-Lapu / Mactan area stores, and other Robinsons/Shopwise sites. Check the locator for the current list before you go.
After you have the card
- Use it at ATMs (GoTyme/co-branded ATMs are free; BancNet ATMs usually have a fee).
- Tap or swipe in stores (Visa + contactless).
- Keep the virtual card for online shopping so you can lock or replace one card without freezing the other.
- Deposit or withdraw cash over the counter at partner Robinsons/Shopwise/Marketplace cashiers (limits and free-transaction rules apply).
Activate or confirm the physical card with the ambassador at the kiosk if the machine or staff asks you to.
